I’ve worked on numerous Canadien clients running there sites on Netfirms and have nothing but problems with any site that required a database on the backend. This includes Joomla websites and WordPress websites.

A typical response to initiating a heavy query is an annoying ’500 http’ error from Netfirms.

In my opinon their servers are not optimized to run these applications. I’m noticing a 10 fold speed increae in response time and page loads with Rochenhost over Netfirms.

If your web sites do not require a databse you might be fine with their offerings. If yo are running Joomla or WordPress you’ll want to look elsewhere.
